Applications: Source: Recombinant E. coli strain with cloned gene encoding Thermus aquaticus DNA polymerase. Description: Atlas LongTaq DNA Polymerase catalyzes 5´ to 3´ synthesis of DNA. The enzyme has been proved not having the 3´ to 5´ exonuclease activity. The enzyme has proven to have high amplification yield, be stable at high temperature. Unit definition: One unit of the enzyme catalyzes the incorporation of 10 nanomoles of deoxyribonucleotides into a polynucleotide fraction in 30 min at 70°C. Quality control: Free of detectable, non-specific nucleases. Storage conditions: 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 100 mM KCl, 0.5% Nonidet P40, 0.5% Tween 20 and 50% glycerol. Store at -20°C. Guaranteed stable for 12 months when properly stored. Concentration: 5 unit/µl
Supplied with: Atlas 10x Taq Buffer: 100 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25°C), 500 mM KCl, 0.8% Nonident P40. Atlas 10x Taq Buffer with (NH4)2SO4: 750 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25°C), 200 mM (NH4)2SO4, 0.1% Tween 20. Atlas 25 mM MgCl2 Comments: This product is supplied for research use only. Related products:
